Sweeteners and Weight Loss

Good vs. Bad

What's your idea of good sweeteners?

Not all sweets that taste good are good for you!

Let's get on track with the right delicious treats.

Bad Sweeteners

So many people have been lied to and made to believe that artificial sweeteners promote weight loss. Nothing is further from the truth.

For instance, take a look at the obesity rate in North America. In just the United States alone almost 70% of adults are over weight and about 35% are considered obese. We are falsely led to believe that fats are to blame but you will learn here that bad sweeteners are among the biggest culprits of weight gain. Many  good fats such as olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, butter and ghee are actually very healthy and aid in weight loss but it is more often sugar and deadly artificial sweeteners which cause weight gain and inflammation, creating tremendous stress on the body and all it's organs. Inflammation is considered to be the beginning of all sickness and is usually brought on by unhealthy food choices and ultimately sickness, disease, and eventually premature death.

Not only do bad sweeteners such as aspartame, sucralose, table sugar and brown sugar cause weight gain, they  also cause disease as they turn toxic in your body. There are even artificial sweeteners in some vitamins. Many people are dying as a result of toxic overload in their bodies. "Cut the bad sweeteners and extend life expectancy."

Unpasteurized Honey

Pure Maple Syrop

Natural sweeteners are the way to go. They are not created in a laboratory but by nature. Our bodies need the elements of nature since that's what we are made up of.

When we start putting foreign things into our bodies they become toxic and sick because of inflammation. Inflammation is considered to be the initial state of all sickness and disease. For more on inflammation click here.

Natural sweeteners are gladly accepted by the body. Everybody craves something sweet, it's normal.. For example, when we first start feeding a baby solid food we have to introduce vegetables first. This is because if we give them the fruits first they will not accept the vegetables so easily.

Bottom Line

There's nothing wrong with sweets as long as they're the right sweets, created by nature and not by man. Natural sweeteners do "not" cause blood sugar spikes. (Blood sugar spikes lead to weight gain and poor health).

You don't need to deprive yourself of deserts as long as they're made with good sweeteners and the right fats. It's sad to think that so many reach for sweets such as diet soda, gum, yogurt, cookies, snack bars, energy bars and hundreds of other foods, sweetened with artificial sweeteners. People do this to lose weight but instead of weight loss they experience weight gain as their bodies become toxic and prone to many diseases.

So lets get back to the way that nature intended and eat the right sweeteners such as coconut palm sugar, stevia, maple syrup and honey so you can start enjoying life and watch pounds melt away. Avoid the junk sweetened with sugar and bad artificial sweeteners.
