Weight Loss Diet

Your weight loss diet plan does not mean you have to be hungry!

The food you eat will hugely determine the weight that you are! Food deprivation through dieting will only set you up for more weight gain. Sure you will lose some weight for a short while, but you will also be losing muscle in the process and when the weight comes back guess what, all that muscle you lost will be replaced with even more fat!

You do not have to starve yourself to get slim! All you have to do is eat the right foods.

You will find yourself eating even more than before and feeling more satisfied because of the fact that your body will not be receiving empty junk food. Before you know it you will find yourself  looking in the mirror and feeling much more satisfied with what you see.

You will take on a much more healthier glow from the vitamins and minerals that your body will be gladly accepting and you will be feeling more energetic.

You may be wondering, does that mean that I will never be able to snack on some potato chips or chocolate ever again? The answer is yes you will be able to enjoy some snack foods such as chocolate and potato chips in moderation and even some breads for that matter. Just as long as it's  the right chocolate and the chips are done in the right oils and the breads are made with the  proper grains!

Staying Away From Empty Foods

Empty foods such as processed foods do absolutely nothing to help your weight loss diet goals or your overall health for that matter!

Processed foods are foods that are already prepared and frozen or packaged supposedly for your convenience.

Because the label on the package may say 100% all white breast meat you may be lead to believe that it must be healthy. But if you take a look at the other list of ingredients that are a mile long so to speak, you'll find canola oil along with some other bad oils, soy based products, sugar, refined flour and chemicals that have been concocted in a laboratory that your body doesn't know what to do with other than store it as fat!

Some other processed and  packaged foods that you find in the grocery store isles that spell disaster for your figure and overall health are, cereal bars, cookies, mac and cheese, soups......and so much more that we will talk about.

Fruits, Vegetables and Other Foods That Promote Weight Loss

Foods such as bananas, pineapple, apples, avocados, sweet potatoes, squash, spelt flour, as well as other beneficial grains are packed full of nutrients and aid in weight loss.

Even though coffee was given such a bad reputation over the years, the drink has antioxidants and speeds weight loss. It works best if you drink it black.

Dry red wine also speeds metabolism when taken in moderation. The recommended amount is around 4 to 5 ounces a day for women and no more than 8 ounces for men. For more info on the health benefits of wine click here.
